May 7th Motion Pictures & The Fight Against Self Injury

Mission Statement

May 7th Motion Pictures' mission is to simply be philanthropic, and be a pillar in the world. We wish to make great films that are particularly educational, stimulating and that will make an impact on those who watch them.  The goal is to participate with different causes, shoot powerful PSA's using influential voices in Hollywood, that are not only associated with us, but that are supporters and believers of our mission.

As we all know, the medium of filmmaking can be very lucrative and profitable.  It's a business that saw profit gain during our latest recession. We strive to use this medium, to create a stream of continual funds for the organizations dedicated to particular subject matters, as well as allocate percentages from sales proceeds, from the media we develop, to all foundations we team up with.

With the support from you and our Hollywood Stars, it is clear to us, by materialization of our recent productions, that our duty in society is clear and definitive, and that this special niche for filmmaking, found M7MP.  We will use our voice for the good of those around us.

Current Cause:  The Fight Against Self Injury

In the United States, 1 of 5 females, and 1 of 7 males suffer with self-injury. Most teachers and therapists would agree that the increase in self-injury feels epidemic in proportion, and is now the forefront topic in family counseling, and health development organizations.

As this behavior is commonly started between the ages of 13-19, our goal is to raise enough funds to film an entire feature length movie dedicated to the matter, then infiltrate it within the educational system for youth as a preventative measure.  We are confident that our cast members possess the influential presence to be a powerful voice in this generation.

The complexities of our society have made it difficult for those afflicted, to seek help. Individuals use self injury as a stress-reduction, or as a way to to deal with negative psychological issues, such as having an alcoholic parent.  If left untreated, the behavior may continue well into adulthood.

Join us today, in the fight against self-injury.

INT. DIM ROOM - SOON AFTER (ISH’S DREAM)
A chocolate fudge milkshake, sits in a cloudy room on a pedestal.  Stiffy slowly emerges from a dark corner of the room, wearing lingerie.  She motions Ish to draw near.  Excitedly, he gallops over to Stiffy.
She removes his shirt, then encircles him, gliding one finger along his back, shoulder, and chest.  She reaches for the chocolate shake and pours it on him.
